PROBLEM

Gresham House Ventures wanted to highlight their talent function with a film aimed at founders. The challenge was to avoid the overly corporate tone typical of investor communications, while still maintaining credibility.

SOLUTION

Instead of boardrooms, interviews were staged in a relaxed bar setting. This gave the film a warmer, more authentic atmosphere, supported by varied B-roll that contrasted with traditional investor films. The result was content that felt fresh, founder-focused, and more human.

Director's Note: With some clients, play has to be subtle. After years of building trust with GHV on safer projects, we earned the space to take creative risks. Shooting in a bar instead of a meeting room seems simple, but it’s the difference between looking like everyone else and standing out.
